About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Supervisor position to join our Housekeeping Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Plan, organize and supervise all Housekeeping activities.
  • Ensure team is trained, motivated and focused.
  • Set the standards of cleanliness and maintenance of all operations.
  • Maintain the Hotel policies and procedures as agreed by the Management in accordance with The Hotel’s business plan.
  • Liaise with Front Office on forecasting VIP arrivals and ensure the smooth flow of communication between the Departments.
  • To conduct periodic inspections throughout the hotel to assess the cleaning standards.

About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Reservations Manager position to join our Housekeeping Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Managing effectively distribution of workload among staff
  • General assistance in the day to day running of the Purchasing Department.
  • Sorting and filing correspondence and orders.
  • To receive all goods according to the correction specification stated in the purchase order/request and to the standard of the Hotel.
  • To check prices and extensions on invoices (where applicable), tally with those on purchase order and bring to the attention of the Purchasing Manager any price differences.
  • Price differences should be explained to the Purchasing Manager and credit requests must be prepared if necessary. If, for any reason, goods have to be sent back to the supplier, a request for credit has to be filled out upon return.
  • Goods received without adequate documentation, a “GRWDN” has to be filled out and then treated like a delivery note.

The i2CAT Foundation is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who is willing to get involved in exciting Research and Innovation projects in the framework of the Horizon Europe, and the Catalan and Spanish research programs.

The suitable candidate will join the research area of Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI). This area holds expertise in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and optimization problems; and applies this knowledge to the verticals of ambient intelligence, mobility, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, health, sustainability and cybersecurity.

Our team is an active player in the European research ecosystem and participates as partners or subcontractors in other R&D projects. Our area also offers professional services to relevant industry and SMEs.

The selected candidate that will join i2CAT will start working in the following projects side by side with our Catalan and European partners:

  • Mossos d’Esquadra: Robot Portraits, introduces an innovative solution aimed at equipping police forces with more accurate and adaptive tools to identify individuals through realistic and up-to-date representations. An external partner will manage the frontend development of the solution and participate in the generation of 2D portraits using image-generative AI, while i2CAT's role includes applying advanced data enhancement techniques, leveraging generative AI techniques to create lifelike 3D portraits, and incorporating natural voice interaction. Together, these efforts aim to revolutionize forensic and criminal investigations by providing cutting-edge technology that optimizes recognition capabilities while streamlining police operations.
  • Fundació TIC Salut i Social: Synthetic Data Generation is a project which focuses on generating high-quality synthetic tabular data from public datasets using advanced generative AI techniques. This innovative approach enables unrestricted research and development while safeguarding privacy, fostering a collaborative environment for transformative data-driven solutions in healthcare.

She/He will develop the following tasks in the projects above listed, and in new projects that will arise:

  • Participate in technological developments of R&D solutions.
  • Analyze and discuss technical requirements with the clients and end users.
  • Design and develop AI/ML/DL models for prediction, optimization, detection, tracking, forecasting, clustering, etc.
  • Participate in the writing and editing of the documents and deliverables associated with the projects.
  • Work together with the colleagues of the Distributed Artificial Intelligence area, other research areas, and the collaborating partners to deliver a proof-of-concept and documentation of the product that meet the desired standards.
  • Participate in the development of pilots and use cases that showcase the proof-of-concept's capabilities.

The selected candidate will begin by working on the development of a novel Elasticsearch library to streamline the current Data Science applied projects in cybersecurity. In detail, The candidate will lead the construction of a tool designed to extract actionable knowledge from Lucene-based systems and generate meaningful indicators for prior analysis using ML-based systems. The objective of this tool is to streamline the current standalone data engineering work in the ExtremeXP and Italtel projects. It will enable the creation of more automatic data-driven tools on top of Wazuh and Soluble Agents, such as OpenNac.

Misión del cargo

El puesto de trabajo de Operario de Zona de Cápsulas dentro de la estructura organizativa del área de Operaciones, forma parte de la estructura funcional de células autónomas de producción, integrando en sus funciones los valores asociados a la Calidad y observación de la normativa de calidad vigente, el valor en la ámbito de la productividad, y el valor del servicio en función de las necesidades de cumplimiento de los tiempos necesarios de los pedidos.

Para estos tres valores de Calidad, Productividad y Servicio observará la mejora continua, integrado en una estructura organizativa del trabajo en equipo y búsqueda de la eficiencia para esos tres valores.

Incluirá como cultura de trabajo los valores asociados a garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de Seguridad, Salud y medio ambiente y las propias internas del Grupo Ferrer.

Principales responsabilidades

  • Llevar a cabo los procesos de fabricaciones mediante el manejo de maquinaria compleja, con cambios de formato y regulaciones de las mismas, realizando los muestreos, controles y registros relativos a los controles en proceso.
  • Velar por el desarrollo del trabajo del equipo entorno a los ejes de Calidad (normativa GMP), Productividad y Servicio, salvaguardando a su vez las normativas de Seguridad, Salud y medio ambiente como las internas de la empresa.
  • Conducción de la máquina asignada.
  • Recogida y verificación del producto intermedio.
  • Control inicial de la limpieza de la sala / equipo antes del inicio del proceso.
  • Identificación del proceso en curso en la sala / máquina (producto / lote).
  • Preparation of all equipment/tooling required for the process.
  • Initial verification of the balance.
  • Loading of the intermediate product into the machine.
  • Verification and registration of the seals of the intermediate product barrels.
  • Product selection in the machine's PLC (if applicable).
  • Adjustment of process parameters.
  • Process control.
  • Periodic sampling for process control (Schleninger) (according to guidance) of the product in progress.
  • Sampling for IPC.
  • Parameter adjustment according to process control (if required).
  • First action in case of minor incidents in the machine.
  • Completion of the manufacturing guide.
  • Compilation of printed records to be incorporated into the manufacturing guide.
  • Completion of the machine book.
  • Sealing of barrels and registration of seals.
  • Calculation of conversion of kgs. produced in units (tablets).
  • Identification and transport of the product produced (barrels of tablets) to the corresponding areas.
  • Disassembly of the format at the end of the process.
  • Cleaning of the fixed part of the machine and punches.
  • Storage and identification of punches.
